8+ years turning requirements into production systems
I'm a Lead Software Engineer with 8+ years across FinTech, SaaS, logistics, healthcare, and e-commerce, and I own the backend architecture and cloud infrastructure behind everything I ship. That means designing the schemas and APIs, standing up the AWS or Azure environment they run on, and staying close enough to the frontend in React, Vue, and Next.js to know how the two sides actually fit together.
At Indigenius AI, that's meant leading backend and DevOps for a voice AI platform end to end: microservices, GPU-backed inference on AWS, and the third-party speech and language integrations that sit behind it. Before that, I built payment infrastructure at HitchAfrica and 1app Technology and shipped SaaS products at Appclick Technology.
I care about clean architecture and dependable deployments, and about the developers I work with. Code review and mentoring aren't a side task for me. They're how a team's standards actually hold up once I'm not the one writing every line.

Lead Senior Backend Engineer
- Lead backend architecture for the company's voice AI platform, designing microservices, database schemas, and RESTful APIs consumed by frontend and third-party systems.
- Own DevOps and cloud infrastructure end to end: deploy and manage GPU-backed AI services on AWS (EC2 GPU instances, ECR, ALB with WebSocket support, CodeBuild, SSM), alongside Azure and DigitalOcean.
- Directed the AWS deployment strategy for the platform's text-to-speech and speech-to-text services from the ground up, including containerization and load-balanced routing.
- Integrate third-party AI services for TTS, STT, and NLP, and manage authentication, authorization, and data encryption across the platform.
- Build production frontend features in Vue.js, React, and Next.js alongside the backend, and monitor production systems to triage incidents before they reach users.
- Act as technical point of contact between engineering and stakeholders, and mentor junior and mid-level developers through code review.

- Built and maintained backend services for a ride-hailing and logistics platform, covering trip lifecycle management, driver-rider matching, and real-time location tracking.
- Implemented cross-border payment functionality, integrating payment gateways and handling multi-currency transaction processing and reconciliation.
- Developed RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based real-time features consumed by mobile and web clients using Node.js, NestJS, and Vue.js/React.
- Worked on backend reliability and data consistency for time-sensitive dispatch and payment operations, including recovery for failed or delayed cross-border transfers.
